CMSConnect is a new module for CMS7 that allows you to create a spreadsheet that allows someone to record externally what work they have been doing according to the management plan. The spreadsheet that is created will have dropdowns of projects and staff codes to enable easy entry in Excel. A second option will produce a report of the same filtered projects with the project description and work programme so the external people also have the project methodologies to hand.
It is easy to integrate this data back into CMS with CMSConnect handling all the data integrity issues and updating of records behind the scenes. It also keeps a log of spreadsheets produced and imported back in so you can keep a track on what data is where.
