CMS Training Courses

The following are the details of the courses offered on CMS by exeGesIS. For costs, see the CMS Price List page. The dates shown below are for public courses. Courses for a single organisation can be arranged at any mutually convenient time. If you have three or more people wanting training, this is a cheaper way to organise training.


CMS Training Course Dates

CMS training courses can be organised solely for one organisation at any time or you can join in a scheduled course where attendees are from a number of organisations.

All these courses will be held at the exeGesIS offices in Talgarth in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Fees are £183 per person per day and do not include lunch. A minimum of three people are required for the course to run so these course details are being circulated to all CMS users now. We reserve the right to postpone the course, for instance, if sufficient people have not enrolled 14 days before the course start date. As numbers are limited, bookings are taken on a first come first served basis.

In these two days, participants will be encouraged to create examples from their own sites. Note that there is no training given here in the CMS7 software. This is only about management planning.

It is strongly advised that the Management Planning course is attending before sitting this CMS7 software course. However, if staff are recording work done and not involved in the planning process, then this is the correct course to attend. It will be assumed that attendees will be familiar with the CMS approach to management planning so planning issues will not be taught on this course, just use of the software.

At least one person from each organisation running CMS should attend this course as attendees will learn how to manage the system as well as the advanced functions of CMS.
