We developed the BASC Green Shoots website, which is designed to encourage their members to contribute to biodiversity conservation by recording shooting areas, habitats and species they see.
 

Church Heritage Cymru is a digital database of church buildings with integrated GIS. Exegesis developed the system in 2015 for the Church in Wales in order to capture information on all its churches.

The Wales Active Travel Act required Local Authorities to produce a map of safe footpaths and cycle-ways. We provided a web-mapping solution for the collation and management of this information.

Exegesis were contracted to review the available historic and cultural data and options for a website and mobile app, as part of the Long Forest project in Wales. We considered a wide range of possible options for the website and mobile app, including crowdsourced hedgerow mapping and survey data collection and management.

Early in 2014 exeGesIS completed a base line survey of the 200 km long South Downs Way. We provided a website for online entry of condition survey information, which was uploaded directly to our CAMS software for analysis and reporting. National Park Officers were also able to assign additional tasks to volunteers through the website.

The Archbishops’ Council Faculty Simplification Group commissioned a working party to make recommendations for modernising and streamlining the faculty system. As part of this endeavour, ChurchCare - the Church of England's national resource - together with Exegesis, developed the Church Heritage Record and Online Faculty System.

FlyMapper is a tool for the reporting and management of fly tipping incidents. Developed by Exegesis, FlyMapper combines field recording of incidents via a mobile application and the management of data through a central database which is shared by multiple organisations.
 

Exegesis is extending CMSi for Natural England to allow it to be used for managing all designated sites in England. This will allow users to record the features on designated sites, their condition, the ownership on those sites, find out which other designations overlap their site including which SSSIs legally underpin Natura2000 sites.

The CMSi API is a set of web services that allows CMSi data to be exported and imported into other systems via a standard HTTP requests. The API is available for all plugin modules to CMSi (for example the Property and Agreements module, Observations and Vegetation module) and is part of the core CMSi system.

We identified the key features and enhanced knowledge of the distribution of UK BAP Open Mosaic Habitats on Previously Developed Land. This involved the development of a survey methodology and a survey of 98 sites to identify OMH habitat, including a survey of invertebrates on 50 - the largest single survey of its kind in the UK.
