Exegesis Spatial Data Management

Richard manages several of our mobile and web-based applications, focusing on litter & fly-tipping.

Richard originally trained as a marine geographer at Cardiff University and then gained over 10 years experience in administration and marketing before joining Exegesis in 2010.

Richard is the consultant for FlyMapper, a smartphone app-based system for reporting and management of fly tipping incidents. In addition he provides client research services and data capture support for projects such as Creating a provisional wood-pasture and parkland inventory for England, Mobilisation of species distribution and population data to support UK Habitats Directive (Article 17) reporting, and Legacy licensing data improvement.

Outside of work, Richard is currently studying for an MSc in Earth Sciences with the Open University. When he can grab a spare moment he also likes to drag his family into the great outdoors for climbing, canoeing and walking.
