Managed by a partnership between the CMS Consortium and exeGesIS, CMS is a practical, logical and effective approach to management planning for sites of conservation and recreation importance.
Please have a look at our online software demonstrations as these clearly show the effectiveness of managing all your site information in CMS.
! NEW ! Natural England are funding a new ownership module for CMS. This will allow you to hold information relating to different land parcels in CMS saying who owns them, if they are under management agreements or leased. All the terms and conditions relating to these agreements or purchases along with contact details can be stored. In addition, you will be able to record who holds the various rights for land parcels whether this be grazing rights, shooting rights, turbary rights, rights to cut wood, wayleaves or easements. This will become part of core CMS and is not an extra chargeable module. It will be released in January.
! NEW ! CMS Regional Seminar dates are continually being organised. The next seminar will be in December at the Natural England offices in Peterborough. See this page for the venues and dates.
! NEW ! Amongst the new features of the current CMS Maintenance Release is a new planning wizard which guides you through the planning process in a step by step manner. It makes the planning process easier leaving you free to concentrate on the content of the plan.
