MapLink V3 adds MapInfo Professional functionality to your database applications. The product allows GIS data related to database records to be accessed and managed from within the database application - the mapped data may be browsed, queried and printed. MapLink enables multi-user data entry and editing on the same layer.

• Gazetteer functionality provides tools to navigate around the map by searching any indexed layer
• MapTemplates functionality provides for the production of professional quality scaled plans complete with user-defined grids, logos, titles, keys and copyright statements. Prints may show all records in a layer or a user-defined selection
• Selections can be passed back to the underlying database for reporting and further filtering, saved to new MapInfo layers or updated in a single operation
• Full MapInfo Professional may be launched from MapLink providing full GIS functionality for advanced users
• Data managed using MapLink may still be edited directly by the underlying GIS package
