In addition to our range of GIS services we are able to offer consultancy advice in the area of building and maintaining GI systems and infrastructure. We can provide expert help at all stages of the GIS project life-cycle - from system specification to routine maintenance of an established system. As a MapInfo Premier Partner, an ESRI Solutions Partner and a developer of open-source solutions we are able to provide wholly impartial advice on system and licensing options. Specifically, we can:

Geographical Information Review:
If you’re new to GIS and unsure about the best way forward then we can undertake a GI Review. Typically we will undertake a structured evaluation of your IT infrastructure and data holdings, review staff capacity and training requirements, complete a needs assessment and discuss GIS options. We will produce a short report of our findings along with costed proposals.
GI Reviews are currently offered at £245 and can be conducted remotely (to save on carbon and costs) or can be at your offices, in which case travel time and travel expenses are additional.
Geographical Information Health Check:
If you already have GIS and are thinking about increasing licence numbers, wanting to reduce annual costs or wishing to exploit web-mapping opportunities etc, we can undertake a GI Health Check to assist your decision making processes. As with a GI Review this can be completed remotely or at your offices. The format is similar to the GI Review, but additionally we will look at your licence holding and consider strategies for reducing total cost of ownership, if appropriate. We will produce a short report of our finding along with costed proposals.
