Intranet and Internet Solutions
exeGesIS has produced a range of web "modules" for their specialist database applications (HBSMR, CAMS, PACS). These consist of a collection of web pages for each application that allow the data held in your specialist application to be made available to others across either an intranet or the internet.
Each "module" has extensive searching facilities to help people find the information they are looking for. Once the data has been filtered, the web page then displays it using XML viewed through an XSL style sheet. This means that you can have a number of different XSL style sheets, any one of which can be applied to provide a different "view" of your data (changing formatting styles, which data is visible etc.). Several views are provided as standard - you can easily modify these or add your own customised views of the data. The web pages can pull data directly from your "live system" or can be used to access a "snap shot" or even a cut down data set. The web pages are designed to suit the majority of installations, but additional customisations are possible to further tailor them to an organisation's specific requirements.

The same approach can be used to create custom web pages with links to a map page for your existing in house databases.
There is an additional GIS module available based on MapInfo's MapXsite or MapXtreme software which allows the location of your record(s) to be viewed. You can perform a range of spatial searches on the data in your database. Map layers showing related data from a range of sources can be integrated. Features include zoom, re-centre, select object, info, radius search, set map width, grid ref and layer control. Optional tools include: PhotoLibrary, AddressFinder, high quality intranet template printing & red lining. All optional tools integrate fully with exeGesIS SDM's range of desktop tools, and discounts are available for existing users!
