Jim is a Software Developer at Exegesis.
Jim studied Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge and subsequently gained a Ph.D. in Ecology from the University of Aberdeen, investigating insect outbreaks and environmental change in the Scottish Highlands.
Prior to joining Exegesis, Jim spent seven windswept years on the Shetland Islands where he developed web applications for energy companies. Jim has over 20 years developer experience, with a particular focus on .Net MVC, C#, SQL Server, and Agile development principles.
When not working, Jim is likely to be found outdoors in remote places, pursuing an interest in landscape photography. He also enjoys growing vegetables, cooking and brewing beer.
